Introduction
"Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) is a dynamic and expansive undertaking that envisions a world where every person has the chance to benefit from educational opportunities and
to learn the lifestyles, behaviours and values
necessary to create a sustainable future."
WWF is dedicated to promoting ESD to all members of the education sector, including students, teachers and environmental educators in the East and South-east Asian regions. In 2006/07, a project entitled Seed of Nature – A School-based Education for Sustainable Development Programme was undertaken to build up teachers' capacity to develop ESD school-based programmes.
